VEGETARIAN: 4 Steps To Make Super Healthy Jello For Kids

The easiest and healthiest dessert for the little ones.

If you are very worried of what your kids eat when they are not with you, the best thing to do is to prepare dishes that will only have healthy ingredients. I opted to make sure I prepare all their snacks and that includes chips (the healthy ones of course), desserts and everything in between.

And when I found this recipe, I got so excited had to make them even before my kids got home from school. But the funny part was that although my kids were so happy to have jello, they were ranting about why I did not wait for them so that they could help me prepare. Luckily I still had some ingredients stored away, so we made some together.

I love the idea of how healthy this jello could be considering that jello is one of those that has tons of sugar that can really be damaging to kids. And the best part is the fruits you put in it. It turned out so pretty and indulging. The kids even take some for school snacks. How awesome could that be?

Dye Free No Sugar Jello for Kids

2 cups Welch’s white grape juice (or 1 cup white grape juice and 1 cup of water)

1 1/2 teaspoons agar powder

A variety of fruits



1. Whisk together in a small saucepan over medium high heat and bring to a boil.

2. Boil for 2 minutes.

3. Pour into jello mold and add chopped fruit.

4. Allow to set in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
