VEGETARIAN: Baked Vegetable Au Gratin
Hale and hearty vegetable version of a classic French dish.
Gratin original came from the French cuisine and it is typically prepared in a shallow dish or container. It is a very popular culinary technique wherein it is topped with a very delectable browned crust. It may seem not too sophisticated for some people but it is a very good dish.
For all my vegetarian friends, here’s a vegetable version for such dish. And for all my vegan friends, you can always use vegan butter and vegan cheese as a substitute for the regular butter and cheese in this recipe. The same goes with the sauce. It will also be a great option for the holidays. It is very easy to make and it won’t take up a lot of your time.
It has minimal ingredients and you can even add your own variation of ingredients to it or adjust the taste to your liking. I personally like a little spice to it. So if you feel the same way, then spice it up a bit.
