Vegan Vietnamese Tofu In Tomato Pepper Sauce [VIDEO]

I have just dug into a chest full of amazing Asian vegan recipes that I can’t wait to share with you all. But first, I have to try them all first before I can say that there are worth trying. Won’t you agree?
Here is one recipe that truly takes the cake from all the Asian recipes I have tried so far. The blend of spices is a perfect play of flavors for tofu. And for those who think tofu is very bland, with this recipe I think you will definitely change your mind about tofu.
For your non-vegan friends and family, this can pass as a great substitute for any meat dish. Vegan Vietnamese Tofu in Tomato Pepper Sauce
400g Tofu diced
5 Roma Tomatoes chopped
2 Cloves Garlic chopped
2 red Chili chopped
1 Shallot chopped
3-4 green Onions cut
1 tsp Pepper
1 tbsp light Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Oil
Oil for frying
Fry diced tofu until golden brown. Set aside after frying.
In a new pan with new oil sauté the remaining ingredients until it turns into a pesto like texture.
Put in fried tofu, simmer for a while then take out of the heat and plate.
