Extremely Tasty Grilled Asian Tofu

A full tofu dish without the grease and extra calories.

Tofu is basically one of the best alternatives I can think of as a main ingredient. I can think of several ways to cook them which will also make my kids want.

And since we love grilling so much, having grilled tofu seems like a great idea. I found this one very easy tofu recipe which requires me using the grill. So now, I have one of my favorite main ingredients and it becomes even better cooking it on the grill.

The thing that makes it much much better is the marinade that you soak it in before grilling. Believe me, it is super yummy. The garlic and honey flavor on the tofu is just perfect. This is actually one of our family favorites simply because of its flavors and ease of preparation. And since my hubby loves his grill so much, he does the grilling. Grilled Asian Tofu

Ingredients:

1 package extra firm tofu (pressed & sliced into 6 pieces)

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons water

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon agave nectar (or honey)

1/4 teaspoons ground ginger

1/4 teaspoons garlic powder

red pepper flakes (Sprinkle)

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients and marinate tofu slices for 10 minutes.

Spray grilling surface with non-stick spray and grill for 3-4 minutes a side. Serve!
