VEGAN: Mango Peach Green Tea Smoothie

A summer treat you can have any time of the year.

I know that at this time of the year fruits such as mangoes and peaches are quite difficulty to find, but I am sure that nearest supermarket or weekend market may have some you can make use of.

This is a great treat especially if you kids and individuals who are young at heart at home. This is also a great drink to serve for parties or social gatherings. It’s easy, super yummy and extra healthy.

The peach and mango give the green tea an extra freshness that will encourage kids to try it out especially if they are not fond of drinking tea. Try it out and tell me what you think.

Mango Peach Green Tea Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup almond milk

2 to 3 handfuls of leafy greens

1 1/2 cups frozen mango

1 1/2 cups frozen peach slices

1 tablespoon hemp seeds

1 tablespoon buckwheat groats

1 tablespoon maca powder, optional

1 teaspoon matcha powder

 

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Notes:

Instead of mango, you could sub 1 1/2 (preferably frozen) bananas.
