For meat eaters hotdogs are basically one of the most eaten quick fix meat. I think you would agree with this especially when you have kids around. I am sure that if you have parties or at least afternoon snacks, hotdogs are the biggest hit.

They are very good options for finger food. But for vegans like us, we have to be more resourceful and creative in preparing these delightful treats. And finding recipes like what I am about to share with you is such an exciting thing. It is really also a great vegan “meat substitute” you can have in sandwiches. Basically you can prepare this anytime you feel like having finger foods or a quick light meal.

Include this in your list of hotdog recipe options you already have, and I’m sure you will be having this almost every single day. Carrots can be very addicting and so are hotdogs. Combine them together and you have yourself a snack you can have on a daily basis without worrying about gaining so much weight

Vegan Carrot Hotdogs

Instructions:
4 carrots
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar
1-2 dashes liquid smoke
1-2 crushed cloves garlic
2 tbsp soy sauce
salt, pepper

Instructions:
Peel carrots into hotdog shapes
Boil in water for 6-7 minutes.
For the marinade mixture, mix all the ingredients and set aside overnight
The next day, place carrot hotdogs in a pan and pour a portion of the marinade.

Cook for 3-4 minute or until a little brown.
Prepare buns and hotdogs together.
